Song of the Valley Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International which is a world-wide,
non-profit organization of women singers whose purpose is to promote the unique art form of
barbershop style harmony through education and performances. Established in July, 1945,
this organization has nearly 25,000 members in chapters located throughout the United States
and in 15 other countries. It is the largest women's music education and performance
organization in the world. The Sweet Adelines motto is "Harmonize the World".
