| Our chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International a world-wide organization of women singers committed to promoting the art of four-part harmony, sung barbershop style, through education and performances, has been around for thirty-six years. SOTV was originally chartered in 1973 as the Kaatskill Chapter. The name was changed to better reflect our geographic location, as well as our mission to contribute to the cultural life of our community, which is Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties. If you are a woman who loves to sing, you will love barbershop! You will also enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of this wonderful group of women. |
